Wing Dixon Lau will give an overview of his step and step process and his tips for creating abstract paintings based on inspiration from different subject matters.
Morning Session: 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon (break around 10:30 AM)
introduction, concept & design, demo
group exercise and 1 on 1 support
colors and medium (acrylic, oil, pencil, charcoal, paste, alkyd, cold wax, solvent)
tools (brushes, knives, stick, scrapes, objects, gloves, towels, glue, plastic wraps, MM paper, canvas, etc.)
Break: 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM
Afternoon Session: 1:00 pm to 4:00 PM (break around 2:30 PM)
demo for completion
group exercise and 1 on 1 support
group show and critique at 3:30 PM
